Hey Everyone!
My name is Marty Bock and I am part of a research team from the Department of Psychology at University of Maryland, College Park. I am conducting a dissertation study on the work and family experiences of working parents. I hope this study will advance understanding of working parents, and the work-life experiences of working men and women.
I am in the midst of data collection which has proven to be quite difficult, perhaps because these women and men are so busy!
I am trying to recruit full-time working couples (female and male) with at least two children under the age of 16 living in the home. For anyone this fits - get started by emailing WorkingParentSurvey@gmail.com
I am interested in this sample because I believe these families may experience the most work-home enrichment and conflict.
The survey is a one-time online study that takes less than 30 minutes. I ask both members of the working couple to participate because this is a couples study. 1/10 couples will receive a $50 American Express Gift Certificate also! I am attaching a flier with more information on this study.
The study is completely voluntary and will only take a few minutes. And it's all in the spirit of research to help our busy moms and dads!
Thank you very much for your consideration, and I hope you guys can help out!
Sincerely,
Marty
