I would like to believe that I am a fun adult. I have fun with my son, various nieces and nephews - kids in general. I have one niece, though, that I swear doesn't like me. She's 2 yrs old right now and I didn't think it would be possible for a child that young to intimidate me, but it is. It isn't even for the reasons that you might think.
She doesn't freak out and have tantrums whenever she sees me. SHe just doesn't say anything and watches me with the most intense stink eye I have ever seen, adults included. It doesn't matter what I am doing - being silly, sitting quietly - she just glares at me. Its very unnerving. I'm considering trying to get her out of it by having a staring contest, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't win.
